Installing WebClient as an App

In addition, the application can serve as the default phone app, as a clickable phone number is available on a website or in another program.

Set Cirrus Halo as Your Default Phone App
If you’re using the Cirrus Halo Web App (PWA), you can make it your default phone app. This means whenever you click a phone number on a website or in another app, it’ll automatically open in Cirrus Halo — ready to dial straight away.
You only need to do this once. Here’s how:
1. Open a Website with a Clickable Phone Number
Go to any webpage that shows a clickable phone number. Your company’s site may have one, but if not, you can use any site that lists a phone number you can click.
(Example: a “Contact Us” page with a phone number link)
2. Click the Phone Number
A pop-up will appear asking which app you’d like to use to open the link.
3. Choose to ‘Always Allow This Action’
Tick the option that says Always allow (or similar wording on your browser).
Then click Choose an app to open the app selection list.
4. Select Cirrus WebClient
From the list, choose Cirrus Halo WebClient and click Always (or Always use this app) to confirm.
