Adhoc Messages allow the Supervisor to easily play information messages before a call is routed to a Router, without requiring Administrator assistance. The message is played during a configured time period, prior to the call being routed through a call flow.
In the Administrator application, Adhoc Messages are created and assigned to the call flow. Information messages can be recorded via Prompts and must be registered before they can be activated in the Supervisor application for the appropriate moments. Alternatively, you can add text and use the text-to-speech engine to read the text aloud.
- This feature is available if your company has purchased the Adhoc Messages module and the Adhoc Management authorization is enabled.
- The message can be instantly stopped by clicking the Deactivate button.
- Activation and deactivation can also be done remotely by dialing a special number and entering a pin code. This number must be configured by the Administrator first.
- The Monitor menu displays when a message is activated.
