Overview
The Chat tab allows UCS users to have internal conversations with other UCS users. Chats can be one-on-one or include multiple participants.
Starting a One-on-One Chat
- Navigate to Resources > Users or Resources > Agent.
- Click the chat button next to the user you wish to start a conversation with.
- The chat will open, and you can begin your conversation immediately.
Receiving Messages
- When a new message arrives, a notification alert will appear in the menu to indicate unread messages.
Creating a Group Chat
- Open the Chat tab.
- Click the group chat button in the menu.
- Provide a name for the group chat.
- Optionally, choose a specific icon for easy identification.
- Search for and select users to add to the chat by toggling their names to the right.
- Once all users are selected, the group chat will be created and ready for use.
With these steps, you can efficiently communicate within UCS, whether through individual or group chats.
