New Features
Pre-Pod for Testing
We have a pre-pod - sometimes referred to as a staging environment - with it's own database and phone number for testing changes before they make their way to production.
Just leave a voicemail from this number - 03331030023 - to see the new entry in the Pre-pod Voicemail Wallboard application.
Forgot Password Workflow
All users can use the ‘Forgot Password’ workflow to reset their passwords making user administration a little easier on organisation administrators.
At the login screen, users can click on forgot password link, then enter their email address, and if the email address is a real user, they will be informed to check their inbox with further instructions.
Note: Password reset links will only last for 1 hour before they expire.
User Administration Interface (UI)
Manage all of your users directly from the interface. We've added a new UI design to make it really easy to view, filter, search and manage your users.
We even ensured that users who have been deactivated are clearly marked as ‘inactive’ when viewing the Wallboard Dashboard, ensuring that no voicemail goes unmanaged.

Bulk User Management
You can now make changes en-mass via CSV via the User Management interface (see Figure 2). Download the CSV report listing all of your users, then use this as a template to re-upload your changes.
Tip: Be sure to remove all the rows that are not needed, ensuring the column headers are your Row 1.

Figure 2 - User Management
The Bulk Operation Details screen gives you a full view of the successes and failures in the changes after uploading your CSV - For example, making it easy to spot typos (see figure 3). In the example below, we can see that the ‘role’ was not a valid role.

Enhancements
Password complexity and user experience updates
We've improved account security by increasing the complexity requirements of users' passwords.
To make it easy to manage, we've ensured the user interface makes these new requirements very clear.

Important note
Existing users will not be required to update their password to the new complexity rules. However, they will need to meet the requirements when they change their password again.
Remember Me
We've added a helpful - and often expected - checkbox when logging in that allows users to decide if they want their browser to remember their password so that they don't need to enter it again.
The ‘Remember Me’ token lasts 120 days - or 3 months - before expiring and thus requiring users to enter their password again.
